Yummy Italian Meatballs for Dogs!

In days of old, dogs ate whatever was leftover from the human table. But now most of us would prefer to give our dogs a better fare. Check out these free recipes for homemade dog food.

If you are going to make your own dog food, be sure to remember a couple of important things. One thing to remember is that dogs are not vegetarians. While they can eat some vegetable matter, they are unable to live long on a completely meat-free diet. Also, be sure to know your dog’s suggested weight range. Keep an eye on weight to avoid obesity which will shorten the length of your dog’s life. And lastly, you should make sure you don't feed your dog anything that might be toxic to him. Here are some foods to avoid: chocolate, onions, grapes, raisins, artificial sweetners or fats.
